Overview

OneMoreLead is a B2B lead prospecting platform that gives sales teams and marketers direct access to a massive database of verified business contacts. The platform's core promise is simple: find the right prospects fast, without the overhead of enterprise data contracts or the noise of unverified lists.

To deliver on that promise, OneMoreLead needed a robust full-stack application capable of indexing, searching, and filtering tens of millions of records in real time — and a frontend interface clean enough that non-technical sales reps could use it confidently from day one.

They came to Figmafy to build both.

The challenge

The technical requirements for OneMoreLead went well beyond a typical marketing site or CMS build. The platform had to solve four hard problems simultaneously:

  • Scalability at data scale — the prospect database contains 55 million verified B2B contacts, and the system had to search and filter that data with sub-second response times
  • User-friendliness — the interface had to be intuitive enough for sales teams who aren't technical, enabling quick prospect list building without a learning curve
  • Database architecture for search — a traditional relational database cannot deliver the kind of faceted search, filtering, and ranking that a prospecting tool requires at this volume
  • Full-stack delivery — frontend UI, backend API, and database infrastructure all had to be designed, built, and integrated by the same team

Elasticsearch was the right call for the database layer. At 55 million records, traditional SQL queries for faceted search would have been unacceptably slow. Elasticsearch's inverted index gives near-instant results regardless of dataset size, and its relevance ranking improves result quality for ambiguous searches.

Our solution

We handled the full development stack — frontend and backend infrastructure — delivering a complete, production-ready platform in four months.

  1. Architecture planning. We scoped the data model and settled on Elasticsearch as the primary search and indexing layer, with Laravel serving as the application framework and API layer. AlpineJS was chosen for lightweight frontend interactivity without the overhead of a full SPA framework.
  2. Backend build — Laravel + Elasticsearch. We built the Laravel application with a clean API architecture, indexing the full 55-million-record prospect database into Elasticsearch with structured mappings for company, role, industry, location, and contact fields. Search queries, filters, and list-export functions were all handled through the API layer.
  3. Frontend build — AlpineJS + Bootstrap. We built the user-facing interface using AlpineJS for reactive state management and Bootstrap for the layout and component system. The result was a responsive, fast-loading interface that felt familiar to sales teams used to web-based CRM tools.
  4. Integration and QA. Search latency, filter accuracy, and data integrity were all tested against the full live dataset before launch. The team at OneMoreLead ran user acceptance testing with real sales reps, and feedback-driven refinements were made before the final release.
