How MFounders got an elegant Squarespace site with autonomous content management in 2 weeks

Overview

MFounders — also known as Moroccan Founders — is an entrepreneurial community platform connecting early-stage startup founders. The team had a polished Figma design with sophisticated branding they were proud of, and a very specific requirement: the "Meet the Founders" section needed to be something their team could update themselves, without going back to a developer every time a new founder joined the community.

Their existing setup couldn't support either the design or the editorial workflow they needed. They came to Figmafy to fix both.

The challenge

The MFounders brief combined a branding challenge with a practical content operations problem:

• The Figma design used "Noise" texture effects — a subtle but distinctive visual treatment that adds depth and refinement to design elements; most generic builders either strip these out or approximate them badly
• The "Meet the Founders" section needed to work like a proper content type — the team had to be able to add, edit, and update founder profiles without developer involvement
• The site had to be fully mobile responsive across all devices, not just scaled down from desktop
• The build had to include a clean, intuitive contact form integrated into the design

Getting the noise effects right while also delivering a genuinely manageable CMS experience — inside Squarespace — required careful implementation decisions from the start.

Our solution

We matched the platform to the team's operational needs: Squarespace gave MFounders a familiar, low-friction CMS while still allowing us to implement the refined design details their Figma file called for.

1. Design audit & architecture. We reviewed the Figma file with particular attention to the noise effects and the founders section structure, then designed a custom post type architecture that would give the team full editorial control without requiring developer access.
2. Custom post type for "Meet the Founders." We created a dedicated content type for the founders section, allowing the MFounders team to add profiles, update bios, and manage the roster directly from the Squarespace dashboard — no code, no developer, no delays.
3. Noise effects & visual fidelity. We applied the "Noise" texture effects to the relevant design elements to match the Figma spec, preserving the refined aesthetic the brand had invested in.
